The Alignment Newsletter provides weekly summaries and opinions on new research relevant to AI alignment. It was created in 2018 by Rohin Shah (then a PhD student at Berkeley, currently a researcher at DeepMind) who continues to run it and writes most of the content (Shah 2019). As of December 2021, the newsletter had over 2600 subscribers.
