The Innovation in Government Initiative (IGI, formerly known as Government Partnership Initiative) is a grantmaking entity that funds research on evidence-based programs to reduce global poverty and efforts to pilot and scale those programs. IGI sits within the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab.
In 2019, IGI received a $1 million grant from the Global Health and Development Fund. The grant was recommended by GiveWell.[1]
