The Center for Emerging Risk Research (CERR) is a nonprofit based in Switzerland that works on improving the quality of life of future generations.

CERR was founded in 2020. It conducts research and grant-making activities on fields such as artificial intelligence, decision theory, game theory, cause prioritization, population ethics and peace and conflict studies.

CERR's equity in late 2020 was around $45 million (Torges 2020). In early May 2021, CERR committed $15 million to support the Cooperative AI Foundation.
