The Center for Emerging Risk Research (CERR) is a nonprofit based in Switzerland that works on improving the quality of life of future generations.

CERR was founded in 2019. It conducts research and grant-making activities on fields such as artificial intelligence, decision theory, game theory, cause prioritization, population ethics and peace and conflict studies.

In early May 2021, CERR committed $15 million to support the Cooperative AI Foundation. As of late May 2021, CERR's equity was around $350 million in mostly illiquid assets.
