I think eventually, working on changing the EA introductory program is important. I think it is an extremely good thing to do well, and I think it could be improved. I'm running a 6 week version right now, and I'll see if I feel the same way at the end.

I'm running an EA intro group, and this perfectly answers a couple of questions that people had that I didn't know how to word answers to. On another note, while I agree with many of these points, I agree with @Vasco Grilo🔸 that RP has probably significantly underestimated the effect of pain on life.

I always come back to this. I use it for a metaphor in much more than EA

This is an awesome writeup. I find it really interesting that he was engaged with the WCC. Echoing Emre Kaplan, I really appreciate EA appreciating good people. Judgement is a very praiseworthy attribute.

I think animal welfare is much more cost-effective, my slight skepticism comes from the idea of positive feedback loops and the knock-on effects in other cause areas.

Totally agree. Very underrated, and this post makes a great point.

Very excited for this! Looking forward to being there.

This is amazing.

I think the collaborative fund is a great concept. This could be a great proof of concept for this style of giving, as well as one of the most impactful and exciting projects I've seen come out of EA recently.

Thanks to you all!

Thank you for making this happen Ben! Looking forward to pushing a workshop in Manchester.

I also really like the draft of asks. One note before I look more deeply, I really agree with Sam Hilton that pushing for cash benchmarking is a really good idea. I think that's something to highlight.
