Join EA UW–Madison organizers for an introduction to effective altruism: a philosophical and social movement that advocates for using evidence and reason to figure out how to benefit others as much as possible, and taking action on that basis.

We'll introduce core ideas like cause-prioritization and share how effective altruism can provide a framework for using your career to do a tremendous amount of good. We'll also discuss what you can expect from EA UW–Madison the rest of the semester :)
