wAt the July Women and Genderqueer meetup we want to talk about AI Safety. With the establishment of Large language models like ChatGPT and looming risks, AI Safety is currently not only the biggest cause area in the EA community, but gaining awareness and attention far beyond.
Besides getting an overview of the current research and challenges in the field, we want to discuss experiences and opportunities of women and genderqueer individuals in this heavily male-dominated field.
Who is this meetup for?
All women and genderqueer individuals in the EA community - no matter if you are currently committing your career to the cause or don't know anything about AI Safety so far.

Hi team - impressive and inspiring agenda. Very keen to come and join, but I am unfortunately not in town that day. Any chance the talks of Marta (Krzeminska) and Claire (Short) could be streamed via zoom? Would be great if we can come up with a solution :) Thank you, Anna
Hi Anna, thank you for your interest! We will look into it and see what we can do. Not sure it will be possible but I will try to figure it out!
