Edit: Swap looks to be covered. Thanks everyone.
As an aside, if you're currently not donating tax-effectively I would recommend trying to set up a swap. It will save you a lot of money or allow you to donate more.

Hi all, I pay tax in Australia and am hoping to donate ~AU$27k (~US$17k, ~13k GBP, 15k EUR) within the year to the Effective Altruism Animal Welfare Fund (which is not tax-effective in Australia).

If you're a US-, UK-, or Netherlands-based EA (the countries where GWWC suggests the EA AWF is tax-effective to donate from) who is planning on donating a few thousand to charities that are tax-effective in Australia (see below) I'd be grateful to organise a donation swap.

Tax-effective Australian charities and funds:

  • Against Malaria Foundation
  • Deworm the World Initiative (led by Evidence Action)
  • Effective Altruism Australia
  • GiveDirectly
  • GiveDirectly Basic income research
  • GiveDirectly Refugees
  • Giving What We Can
  • Helen Keller International
  • Malaria Consortium
  • New Incentives
  • StrongMinds
  • Unlimit Health (formerly SCI)
  • All Grants Fund by GiveWell
  • Top Charities Fund by GiveWell
  • Giving Green Grantmaking Fund by Giving Green
  • Global Health and Wellbeing Fund by Giving What We Can

Love you all,
Mitch

Hey! Shoot me a DM if you still need a swap! I can do up to ~6K this year, and more next year!
