I work in the operations department of a small for-profit organisation based in the UK. One of our strategy goals for 2024 is to sponsor a charity event. As far as I am aware our senior leadership team does not have a set donation budget in mind, but I would hazard a guess that it would range between £500 and £5000.
I am eager to use this as an opportunity to encourage our team to support a highly effective charity, but many such charities do not appear to hold fundraising events. I understand why this may be the case; organising a fundraising event may not be the most cost-effective way of raising funds.
That said, if anyone does know of any highly effective charity events taking place later this year that would be looking for a corporate sponsor, please let me know!
