Some of use believe the future is not in gigantic LLM that “know everything about everything”, but instead in chatbots trained to do specific knowledge sharing on specific narrow topics. Who is or should be providing ethical guidelines to these builders? They have less scrutiny than the “big guys”! For example a narrow chatbot focused on vacination, that has “bad” info could do big damage.
I believe broad AI systems are essential for handling complex queries across various topics efficiently. Narrow-focused chatbots can be useful but might miss out on broader contexts and interdisciplinary connections that broad AI can provide.
