What does it look like to participate as an organiser?
We will outline the main milestones and responsibilities below:
- You sign up to the form above, this makes you the representative of your group in the project. You will be acting as a bridge between your group's course and AIS Collab.
- You will receive an email about joining a coordination call where we talk through what will it look like for you and your group to participate. All other group organisers will be present. We will answer any questions.
- Over the program, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Copy our course application template and spread the word in your location about the course
- Create marketing materials from templates
- Be responsive on Slack
- (Optional) work with Amplify to launch a digital marketing campaign. This service is free, but you will be expected to provide some budget for the ads Amplify runs for you. In some cases, Amplify can upfront the ads budget, or even cover it from its on budget, but this is not guaranteed.
- Provide facilitators for the course
- Ideally, you would be able to provide enough facilitators to cover all members who are coming from your group, or even more. However, one of the benefits of the program is that we pull together our resources, so even if you aren't able to provide facilitators, we will do our best to help you.
- Have a 1-1 with engaged participants after your course ends
