Quite fascinating (and lengthy) essay laying out foundations and promising trailheads for the meta-science field. From one of the originators of the "progress studies" field and likely to be a major text within it. Self-recommending as some would say.
Got through about 25% of the essay and I can confirm it's pretty good so far.
