In November, I'll start my EA Fellowship in Mexico taking part in some community-building activities to support the EA community in Latin America.

I have previous experience in operations, HR and event management at AIESEC and have interned at Accenture as a digital analyst.

I am currently enrolled in the Introductory EA Program and I find my discussions with my team very enriching. I’d love to get more involved in the EA community and connect with more people who care about social impact.

I am seeking career advice because I would love to get the perspective of an experienced member of the community who can offer me personalized advice on my career plan, especially because my family and friends think I am a little crazy for leaving my consulting job to pursue this idealistic vision of having a high-impact career.

I want to know whether they think I am overconfident or underconfident about the positions I am applying to. Also, I am hoping they can help me discover alternative paths that would suit me that I haven’t considered yet. Lastly, I would be very grateful if they could introduce me to people who could share with me how they got into the fields I am interested in working in, like AI safety, EA community-building and reducing the harm of emerging technologies like aligning recommender systems.

I had a career advice call with František Drahota, my program facilitator of the Introductory EA Program and got so much value out of it in just 15 minutes. I am thrilled about all the uncertainties they can help me gain more clarity on through their mentorship!

I have organized various events over the past several years. The one that I'm most proud of is when we empowered 200+ students to take action toward the 2030 Agenda through our 2-day forum held during the pandemic.
