In his book, Homo Deus, Yuval Noah Harari says “Revolutions are usually made by small networks of agitators rather than by the masses. If you want to launch a revolution, don’t ask yourself, ‘How many people support my ideas?’ Instead, ask yourself, ‘How many of my supporters are capable of effective collaboration?”

Ideas aren't enough to make the world better place. Whatever impact you seek, maximizing your effect will require collaboration, a way people to contribute toward the same end.

So, what methods are well suited to facilitating people contributing to toward the same end?

Are there examples of effective collaboration that people looking to do the greatest good would benefit from emulating?

Are there examples of poor attempts at collaboration that hold important lessons on what to avoid?
